Artist's Description

This is a building next to the beach (notice the sand) by the shore of Lake Michigan in Kewaunee, WI. The building is now known as Hamachek Village; a venue for art shows and other events. The red-brick building is the historic Kewaunee Inn; formerly known as the Karsten Inn. I snapped this while sitting in a canoe on the lake in September, 2006.
